Enterprise Employee Crisis Fund Application 

The Employee Crisis Fund has been established by the Sanford Health Foundation to aid employees needing emergency relief in times of crisis.

Children’s Miracle Network - Direct Child and Family Assistance Grant

Children's Miracle Network and Cure Kids Cancer supports patients at Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls by providing specialized equipment, important unbilled family services and direct child and family assistance for expenses not covered by insurance.

GABR Children’s

GABR Children’s supports patients at Sanford Children's in the Bismarck region (central and western ND) by providing direct patient assistance for select medical expenses not covered by insurance.

GABR Legacy

GABR Legacy supports kids in central and western ND who have a condition that permanently affects their development by providing direct financial assistance for specialized medical equipment, home modifications and vehicle modifications.

Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society Educational Assistance Request

Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society supports lifelong learning and is pleased to offer financial support for employees who are continuing education in a field that can enhance their contributions to our organization.

Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society Certification Reimbursement

Upon employment, employees are eligible for reimbursement for certification and recertification testing fees if it is highly recommended for their current position/department.

Sanford Veteran Professional Development Grant

Sanford Health is dedicated to supporting veterans who are seeking professional development opportunities. In partnership with Sanford Health, the Sanford Health Foundation and supporting donors, veterans can now seek financial help to growth and develop in the workplace.

Sanford Health Foundation Scholarships

Through the generosity of many donors, Sanford Health is able to award a number of scholarships annually to employees enrolled in post-secondary education.

Sanford Health Military and Veteran Scholarship

The Sanford Health Military and Veteran Scholarship is awarded to any veteran, Guard/Reserve, or active-duty military service member who has demonstrated leadership and commitment in his/her community.

Sanford Health Network Scholarship Application

Sanford Health supports lifelong learning and is pleased to offer financial support for students who are continuing education in a field that can enhance their contributions to our organization. Sanford Health Network is pleased to offer a $2,000 scholarship opportunity to students pursuing a post-secondary degree in a health care-related field.

Friends Of Sanford Health Scholarships

Sanford highly supports students and employees working in the Bemidji region who want to further their health care education and advance their careers.  

Sanford Health Volunteer Scholarships

This scholarship was created to provide support to Sanford Health student volunteers in Sioux Falls, SD who are pursuing a health care related field of study.

Sanford Health Equity in Education Scholarship

The Sanford Health Equity in Education Scholarship is a targeted financial scholarship program aiding underrepresented and traditionally underserved populations seeking higher education.  The scholarship application is open to Sanford Health employees and the broader community.

Sanford Health Bismarck Radiography Scholarships

To provide scholarship dollars to qualified students of a Sanford Health Bismarck employee who is in need of financial assistance due to unexpected circumstances out of their control thanks to the friends and families of Jeff Johnson and Ross Kunz.

Good Samaritan Society Local Scholarship

This scholarship is for GSS employees only who are either current in school or have past educational debt.

Good Samaritan Society Minnesota Scholarship

This scholarship will help employees pursue education that leads to advancement in the field of long-term care (including but is not limited to CNA certification, LPN, BSN), medical interpreter education, social work, job-related English as a second language or Adult Basic Education training.

Mimi Diffley Memorial Employee Scholarship 

Sanford Health Foundation of Northern Minnesota is proud to offer an annual employee scholarship opportunity, thanks to the Mimi Diffley Memorial Scholarship Fund along with ongoing employee donations.

Merrill and Elizabeth Koster Scholarship 

Provide scholarships to Native American nursing students who have been accepted to a baccalaureate nursing program in the state of North Dakota.

The Alumni Association of Sioux Valley Hospital School of Nursing Scholarship Application

The primary purpose of the Alumni and the scholarship Trust Committee is to promote nursing as a profession and to provide monetary support to qualified applicants.

Young Professional Development Fund

The Steve and Tara Young Professional Development Fund was established to provide continued education and professional development opportunities for enterprise employees working in fields related to Sanford Sports.

Student Programs

Job Shadowing

People who are Juniors in high school or aged 17 or older can apply to job shadow (observe) patient care. You can observe for 1 hour up to a maximum of 8 hours. The purpose is to learn about a specific job from an experienced professional to see if you are a good fit for the career. It is a chance to ask questions about the career you may want and decide on a future career path.

Influenza Vaccine Exemption

Sanford recognizes the importance of creating a safe environment, free of infection/transmission of disease and to protect our patients/residents, employees, licensed independent medical practitioners (MDs, DOs and advanced practice providers (“Providers”)), medical students, volunteers, visitors, and community from exposure to Influenza. Students who maintain a sincerely held religious belief requiring abstention from receiving the Influenza vaccination may be exempted from receiving vaccination.
